Lynn will guide us through the Comprehensive Plan Update process, shedding light on options for public input that will make you realize the important role everyone plays in the planning process.

What to expect:  This program is a backstage pass to the grand vision of Easton’s future. Expect to leave with an understanding what is involved in updating the town’s Comprehensive Plan, armed with knowledge about the mandatory requirements, updated processes, and the opportunities for public engagement. What will Easton look like in 20 years?

Questions before the class are welcome and encouraged.  Course participants will have an opportunity to send specific questions or topics in advance of the program to help make the discussion as meaningful as possible.

Lynn Thomas, Jr

Lynn B. Thomas, Jr., AICP, is the Town Planner for the Town of Easton where he has worked since 1990. In that time he has focused primarily on long range planning and has led the Town through the update process for three Comprehensive Plans (the fourth is currently underway), four Comprehensive Zoning Updates, as well as a number of Neighborhood or Small Area Plans and the creation or updating of various other regulatory documents. Lynn also teaches two classes in Urban Planning (Applied Planning and Smart Growth) in an adjunct capacity at Salisbury University.
