Everyone has questions about love and relationships (even those of us in long-term relationships). “Romance is in the Cards” shows a popular way to answer those questions — Tarot cards!
We’ll touch on what Tarot is and why it is so good at uncovering hidden insights. Then we’ll go into how to use the cards, step by step, with clear examples on screen. We’ll focus on aspects of romance, like “Is this true love?” “How’s my relationship going?” and “How do I find my special someone?” Those of us in long-term relationships might be in for some surprises!

The method we’ll learn can work on any sort of question, so it will be useful year-round. It’s lighthearted fun and flexible enough to reward deeper explorations. Those who don’t yet have a Tarot deck will get a chance to see what’s available before they choose. It’s amazing how many beautiful works of art are out there, masquerading as decks of cards!

What to expect: We’ll learn what Tarot is and how to use it for insight and entertainment. We’ll use a simple five-step method to focus on questions of romance. There will be decks on display for in-class participants to see up close. The many illustrations on screen, all from various Tarot decks, will give everyone a taste of the wide range of offerings in this entertaining and historic game. It is not necessary to have or bring a Tarot deck to enjoy this class.

She has worked as a journalist, bartender, metaphysical manager, poet, full-tilt mom, and Russian translator. Shakespeare and ukulele got her through the pandemic.
