Be the hit of the Halloween party — go as a fortune teller who really knows how to do it!

“Your life is written on your hands” — that old saying makes sense, doesn’t it? That’s the inspiration for palm reading.

In this class you’ll learn what the shape of the hands and fingers indicate. You’ll learn how to interpret the lines and the marks on them, too. With those basics to guide your own observational powers, you will be able to sketch a person’s path and personality. You’ll learn what the most common questions are, where to look for the answers, and how to make it fun for everyone. We’ll keep it light and positive.

You’ll get handouts to remind you of the details as you practice at home. But I predict you could be a real fortune teller in time for Halloween!

What to expect:  We’ll cover the basics of palm reading and how to combine those details to answer common questions. The focus will be on fortune telling for entertainment, but we will touch on how to be sensitive to the feelings of the questioner and to keep it sanitary.

Suzanne Sanders

Suzanne Sanders earned a B.A. in Humanities from Johns Hopkins because, hey, somebody has to balance out all those pre-med students. She has worked as a journalist, bartender, metaphysical manager, poet, full-tilt mom, and Russian translator. Shakespeare and ukulele got her through the pandemic. She highly recommends the combination.
