Spend a late summer afternoon with us as we experience a VIP Wine Tasting Experience at the welcoming atmosphere of a 70-yr-old farm and vineyard in Vienna, MD.
Bring a couple of friends and join us for this VIP wine tasting experience at the mid-Atlantic’s first and only certified craft winery. Set on more than 14 acres of beautiful vineyards, Layton’s Chance offers a wide selection of sweet and dry wines to taste, a large picnic area with outdoor games, a nature trail and friendly staff to greet you. And don’t forget the full porch with its beautiful Adirondack chairs to laze about on!
For our visit, the folks at Layton’s Chance will provide a VIP tour of the vineyard and winery before going inside to their event room for tastings. Our tour will start with a guided walk around the vineyard and winery. The tours are casual and led by trained winery staff. While tour length is approximately 30 minutes, questions are encouraged and tours can be slightly shorter, or longer, depending on the tour guests and questions that come up! Those who prefer not to walk can join the tour in the production facility in lieu of walking through the vineyard. While touring our modern production area, you will learn about different winemaking techniques.
After the tour, we’ll adjourn to the event room for a special tasting of 8 different wines along with snacks to clear the pellet including charcuterie boards and chocolates.

Guests are welcome to stay after the tour and tasting to enjoy a picnic outside in the picnic area or on the porch. Take some time to explore our beautiful Tasting Room on your visit. Take advantage of your 15% discount and purchase a bottle for your picnic or shop for local gifts!
You’re also welcome to bring your own food to complement and stay to enjoy a picnic afterwards. By law, no other alcohol is allowed on site.
