Join Ben as he takes us into the shop to check under the hood and learn (or refresh our knowledge) of basic car care maintenance and what to do in an emergency.
We have all seen a car not start or someone’s hood open on the side of the road. Ben wants to help us feel more confident behind the wheel. Learn how to check the vehicle engine oil, coolant, washer fluid, and other fluids. How to jump start your car if the battery dies. What to do when a light comes on in the dash and what these different lights mean. How to check tire pressures and what to do if you get a flat tire.
Car technologies have changed so much over the past decades that we rarely look under the hood. Take a breath and let Ben show you the things you can and should be able to do for yourself!
What to Expect: Whether you are a new driver, have a new (or old) car, or have a long trip in your future plans, Ben will make sure you are prepared with basic maintenance tasks your vehicle will thank you for. You will leave with the confidence to handle some of the standard issues that can happen with day-to-day driving – all without needing to call for help.
The course will be held at Mid-Atlantic Tire Pros and Hybrid Shop (8105 Teal Drive, Suite A, Easton, MD 21601).
