Summer wood transfer art

Join us for a fun and creative workshop where you’ll transform a simple wooden plaque into a personalized piece of art!

Choose a favorite color from Joan’s selection of Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paints to paint your plaque. Once dry, you’ll select from a variety of beautiful rub-on transfers to decorate and personalize your piece—florals, vintage designs, or charming sayings—whatever speaks to your style!

We’ll finish by applying a protective clear coat to seal and preserve our creation, making it perfect to display at home or give as a heartfelt handmade gift.

All materials provided — just bring your creativity!

For those of us who take delight in this, we might be able to convince Joan to teach her “Bring Your Own Piece” class for Chesapeake Forum this winter – guaranteed to bring out the hobbiest in us while creating beautiful pieces for our home that would cost a LOT purchased in a specialty store.

Please note:  your registration fee pays for program costs plus a nominal Chesapeake Forum overhead contribution.  **Seats for this program are giftable but not refundable unless there is someone on the waitlist to take the seat.**
