Chef Rohit

Chef Rohit is the owner and chef of Easton’s Bombay Tadka, a popular option for locals looking for a taste beyond the norm. Originally from Mumbai, India, Rohit came from a close-knit nuclear family and completed his early education in Mumbai. He pursued higher studies at Glasgow University, where he gained expertise in restaurant management and guest hospitality. In 2016, Rohit moved to Cambridge, Maryland, for an internship with the Hyatt Regency Cambridge. At that time, there were no Indian restaurants in the area, with the closest options in Annapolis or Salisbury. Recognizing the demand for authentic Indian flavors, he seized the opportunity to bring a true taste of Indian cuisine to the Eastern Shore. Says Rohit, “Opening my restaurant here has allowed me to share my culture and culinary traditions, and I’m grateful for the incredible support and warmth of the community.
