After learning how to make Paella last semester, Larry will introduce us this winter to the wonderful world of Greek cooking with a focus in this course on two specialties that often come to mind when thinking of Greek food.

Larry will start off by showing us how to make a lovely Greek salad. Next up, we will learn how to make Greece’s most popular dish, Moussaka, described by some as the ultimate comfort food. And topping off our experience of Greek cooking, Larry will finish with a dessert of Baklava! What’s Greek for “YUMMM”?

Those of you who have attended Larry’s cooking classes in the past know you are in for an educational and entertaining session as Larry shares his love of cooking!

Special Bonus – at the end, we will sit down and enjoy this wonderful lunch!

PLEASE NOTE: Unlike Larry’s recent Paella class, this cooking class will take place at the Oxford Community Center. Due to the popularity of Larry’s courses and the limited class size, we are scheduling TWO dates to choose from. HURRY! Class size is limited to 16 and will sell out quickly!

What to expect: Come away with an understanding of how to make a DELICIOUS Greek meal – and best yet, enjoy Larry’s cooking for lunch!

Feedback from Larry’s last course:

“Larry is passionate about great food and is an excellent chef. He blends humor into his cooking techniques … and provides an easy-to-follow recipe as well as Paella guide. Larry also referenced a not only cookbook by Penelope Casas but also provided advice regarding where to purchase Portuguese sausage and saffron in quantity.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Larry’s affable and humorous personality made the course even better. Sincerely hope there are more courses in the pipeline.”

“This was a great session. Larry is so dynamic and entertaining as he cooks. He explained everything so clearly and the written recipe is also very clear. The paella was excellent. Looking forward to taking another class from him and making paella at home.”
