Test your taste buds with the variety of beer styles, learn the differences in how they are brewed, and match them to your favorite foods.

Join your Chesapeake Forum friends on this visit to the area’s oldest boutique brewery and test your taste buds with the different styles of beers while learning the differences in how they are brewed.

Owner of Eastern Shore Brewing, Ace Moritz, will present a flight of 5 beers (5 oz glasses) that represent the scale of beer styles: pilsner to stouts. Follow along with a printed guide of these styles, how they’re brewed, and how they’re best matched with food, season, or event, as Ace provides an overview of the process of brewing and canning beers, ales, and stouts.  Ace and his brewmaster Zach Milash brew their product on premises, using only the finest ingredients from around the globe.

Eastern Shore Brewing beers are constantly rotating with 3 year-round beers, St. Michaels Ale, Knot So Pale Ale and Situation Critical, as well as two 6-month seasonals, Duck Duck Goose Porter in the Fall/Winter, and Magic Hefeweizen in the Spring/Summer months.

The Brewery is located in the “Old Mill” in St. Michaels and is eclectically decorated for an old-world Eastern Shore feel where dogs are always welcome. It is the Eastern Shore’s oldest boutique brewery.

What to Expect:  Fun with friends, tips from the brewmaster, all while tasting brews representing the full scale from Pilsner to Stout… What’s not to like?

Please note:  your registration fee pays a tasting fee plus a nominal Chesapeake Forum overhead contribution.
