Belgium is a fascinating but often overlooked travel destination. The home of chocolate, beer, waffles, the EU, and the surreal artist René Magritte. It also has beautiful trails to wander and a wide range of museums and historical sights. Although slightly smaller than Maryland, the Kingdom of Belgium is known for three major battlefields, Waterloo, Flanders, and the Bulge. There are many wonderful restaurants where a leisurely meal is an experience to be enjoyed with friends. Best of all Belgium is a very friendly country that makes their visitors feel welcomed.
