Discover how fun and approachable glass art can be in this upbeat, beginner friendly fused glass workshop. You’ll learn the essentials of glass fusing while designing your own 4″ x 4″ groovy glass coaster—a bright, playful piece made from clear glass squares and colorful “stringers,” those skinny, spaghetti like rods that snap with a satisfying pop and make shaping your design surprisingly easy.

With guidance from the Kiln Born team, you’ll explore how to arrange, layer, and break stringers to create bold lines, retro patterns, or whatever funky flair inspires you. No experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.

What to Expect:

Enjoy a relaxed, hands-on creative experience with friendly guidance from Kiln Born staff.
After class, your coaster will be fired in Kiln Born’s studio at temperatures hot enough to melt and fuse your design into a smooth, polished piece. Your finished coaster will be ready for pickup at the store in about two weeks. Perfect for gifting or showing off at home!
