What’s that in the sky?

This program tells the story of how astrophotographer James McKee took his love of astrophotography from a simple DSLR telephoto lens and tripod, to a fully automated astrophotography setup in five years.  You will see deep sky objects he has captured from here in Talbot County that will absolutely tickle your imagination of what lies beyond!  Jim will review lessons learned and demonstrate what wonderful photographs are possible to accomplish from the skies right here on the Eastern Shore.

This is not a “nuts and bolts” briefing, but plan on getting bit by the bug of looking to the skies in a new way!

What to expect:

  1. How to start an astrophotography hobby
  2. Where to look on the internet for help
  3. The level of technical knowledge required
  4. How much equipment is enough equipment
