G.C. Divanna

G.C. DiVanna came to Easton as General Manager of Rude Food Co in 2020 to help open Rude BBQ, Rude Burger, and now, La Bodega.  Rude Food Co was created by owner of Rise Up Coffee, Tim Cureton, who had become friends with GC as a wholesale purchaser of Rise Up at an Annapolis restaurant he was managing. When GC learned that Tim was starting a couple restaurants of his own, GC knew he wanted to join up with Tim to help make them the best spots in Easton.  “La Bodega is a celebration… Celebrating all of life by sharing in the most authentic Latin American food & drinks.” You can read this sign posted inside of La Bodega. You will also see written in Spanish, “Amor y Risa.” Love & Laughter. Summed up best by the late Daniel Brett, a good friend of Tim’s: “The only things that bind us are love & laughter; and in some ways, they’re the only real things.” These days you may find GC at either one of the Rude establishments, but more often than not, he may be behind the bar at La Bodega, serving up the best Margaritas in town, or pouring a tasting flight of some of his hand-curated selections of Tequilas & Mezcals.
