Join us for a flavorful journey from China through India and South Africa, exploring how diverse cultures have embraced tea as their favorite beverage.

Let’s talk tea!  Did you know tea is the second most popular drink in the world, only surpassed by water?

Together, we’ll discover the history and traditions behind tea and tisanes, from ancient ceremonies to modern blends. We’ll taste a curated selection of green, black, and oolong teas, along with rooibos, herbal, and fruit infusions for caffeine-free options; plus learn how tea is grown, processed, and prepared across continents.

What to expect:

Gather with friends—new and old—at Monika’s cozy tea haven, Doehrn Tea Company in Oxford. Enjoy a morning of sipping, learning, and connecting as we explore what makes each tea unique in flavor and story.

Please note: Parking near Doehrn Tea Company is limited. We encourage carpooling with a friend!

Monika Mraz

Monika Mraz started Doehrn Tea Co. in 2023 to share her love of tea with the community. Growing up as the sole tea drinker in a house full of coffee drinkers, Monika thought it was time to spread her love of tea and celebrate its deliciousness with fellow tea enthusiasts, as well as shout from the rooftops for all to hear that tea is awesome and should be enjoyed by all. Prior to venturing into the tea business, Monika served as a fundraising executive for international non-profit organizations that took her to far-reaching locales where she always sought out the local tea culture, and always found one.
