Payne Kilbourn retired from the Navy as a Captain after serving on five nuclear attack submarines and several assignments ashore. From 2004 to 2011 he was CEO of a robotics company. He is the author of several fiction and non-fiction books, writing under the pen name of Payne Edwards.
