Improve your memory and cognitive function with Mah Jongg and have fun while doing it!

Mah Jongg is all the rage! Not only is it fun to learn, but it’s also good for your brain. Some studies suggest that playing Mah Jongg can improve memory and cognitive function as we age – and the improvements are not short-lived.

This four-week class will teach you the basics of American Mah Jongg and give you the confidence to begin playing with your friends. Attendance at the first 2 sessions is required and attendees may not send a surrogate.

What to expect:

At the end of the course, participants will understand how to set up a Mah Jongg game, read the tiles and the Mah Jongg card, and understand basic strategy. You will have enough knowledge to begin playing confidently with others.  Barb Lane and Mimi Dickinson will be assisting Zandi.

Feedback from Zandi’s past courses:

“Great fun and a wonderful way to meet new friends. Zandi and her crew were delightful and very patient with all of us new learners.”

“Alexandra (Zandi) Nammack is an exceptional instructor of Mah Jongg.   Her expertise, manner, and clear method to explain intricate details made the learning process so efficient and enjoyable.   We all enjoyed her — as well as her team of assistants!”

NOTE:  The registration fee includes National Mah Jongg League cards for each participant.
