Dr. Michael Roman is a biological oceanographer and Professor Emeritus at the Horn Point Laboratory in Cambridge, MD. He has extensive experience studying zooplankton and fish in dead zones in the Chesapeake Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, and he serves on the UNESCO Global Ocean Oxygen Network (GO2NE).
