This two‑hour journey highlights three of Rosato’s most significant works — Ode to Waterman, Reflections on Pine, and Take My Hand — and offers firsthand insight into the inspiration, technique, and cultural meaning behind each piece. The experience concludes with an exclusive visit to Rosato’s studio, where his visions come to life.
What to expect:
The tour departs from the Dorchester County Visitor Center where we will board Jerry’s luxury touring van for the two-hour journey led by Michael Rosato. Along the way, engaging narration will weave together the region’s history, culture, and artistic legacy, showing how each mural fits into Dorchester’s larger story of resilience and community.
You’ll hear behind‑the‑scenes stories as Rosato shares his inspiration and creative process. We’ll visit several of his most compelling murals across Dorchester County, including the renowned Take My Hand piece and other hidden gems.
A final stop at Rosato’s studio offers a deeper look at his techniques and artistic journey. Each of us will receive a signed print of the Take My Hand mural.
