Being able to laugh and connect with others is the elixir of life! Join us for the fun of improv and feel like a kid again!
Being able to laugh and connect with others is the elixir of life! And improv creates a safe space to engage in a collaborative, creative environment where everyone’s got your back.
In this, our 3rd session of “All of Life is Improv”, we’ll relearn how to play using the principles of improv: “Yes, And”, “There Are No Mistakes”, and “Got Your Back”. It’s like recess for adults, where everyone’s picked for the team and we all share the games and laughs. Improv – taking the “gifts” we receive and building upon them – comes out of the theatrical arts, but these games and skills help us to be resilient in our own life, love and work. No skills needed. You don’t even need to be funny. Just bring an open mind and a willingness to make stuff up.
What to Expect:
Improv is experiential, so prepare to be on your feet and have fun. We’ll create a safe, collaborative environment and engage you in 6-9 activities to wake up your brain, highlight the principles of improvisation, and help you apply them in your own life.
Feedback from past courses:
“I really enjoyed participating in this class. It was lots of fun!”
“Totally fun and educational! We all shared many laughs in the process of learning some key takeaways for better communication! We need to have Val and Heather back next semester with more sessions!”
“It was so much fun to try something different. Also, the title was so appropriate.”
