Since 2012, the Chesapeake Multi-Cultural Center (ChesMRC)—based in Easton, Maryland—has delivered over 25,000 services to more than 8,000 clients. With deep experience and a hands-on approach, the organization has become a vital resource for immigrants navigating life in a new country. Join Matthew Peters as he reflects on 13 years of service and shares insights into the evolving needs of the community.
What to Expect:
You’ll gain a deeper understanding of the programs ChesMRC offers, including Youth Development, Community Outreach, and Immigration Legal Assistance. Learn about the diverse backgrounds of the immigrant population in our region, and hear personal stories about the journey to America, getting established in Maryland, and the path moving forward. This session offers a chance to connect with the human side of immigration and explore how local efforts can make a lasting impact.
