Val Cavalheri has been studying and performing improv for over five years and leading improv classes for the past year and a half. She is a longtime member of Improv Easton, a local troupe known for bringing laughter and connection to stages across the Mid-Shore. Val is also a journalist and has served as the Arts and Culture Editor at The Talbot Spy for over eight years. In addition, she is the host and producer of Shore Stories, a weekday radio show on WHCP, an NPR affiliate, where she highlights the people and places that make the Eastern Shore unique. With a background in storytelling, Val brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to improv—balancing structure with spontaneity, and always making room for joy.
